The Army’s Signature.

We fight hard, we bleed light,
it is the army’s signature.

We fight; sweat, blood and all,
it is the army’s signature.

We fight; on bended knees and fainting limbs,
it is the army’s signature.

We fight; even in the face of death,
it is the army’s signature.

We know we will not die in battle,
for we have believed to see the goodness of the lord in the land of the living.

And just when I think I’m going to fall, I take a step further,
and I realise I did not fall.
