Let The World Arise!

Let the world arise,
thy maker calls for thee
Let the nations come
before the ruler and judge of all.

It’s been a long day away
It is time to come home
to the one who is true
who is life and love everywit.

Let everything that flaunts
be laid aside for that which satisfies
Let everything that bounds
be laid aside for that which makes free

Let the heart find its home
Let the soul find peace
Let the mind be restored
Let the spirit be healed.

It is too long a stray away
The man cannot survive
for the spirits needs its meal
and the soul needs cleanse.

Enough of all charade
and arrogant displays
Enough of tomfoolery
and that which cannot be

For the axe is laid to battle
and victory is the Lord’s
But man is not the target
Indeed, he must not be.

So let the man return
let all that stray, refrain
Let him come before He
who is and is plenteous in mercy

For he will forgive
He will abundantly pardon
He will heal
And dwell within.
